About this role
- Currently we are looking for a highly experienced design professional as a Design Director who has acquired hands-on experiences in architectural design and interior design to join their design team under projects development department.
- As a Head of Design, you will be responsible for managing development projects in from conceptual design stage to project completion, including the coordination with project team, integration of design planning, feasibility studies, interior design, architectural & schematic design, detailed design, design development, design review, selection of suitable building materials, solving design problems by providing alternative design solutions and managing external design consultants & contractors and moreover ensure projects will be delivered within quality, schedule and budget.
Requirement:
- Degree in Architecture or interior design or fine art related background in real estate;
- At least 20 years working in renowned design firms & preferably with past experiences in client-side;
- Registered Architect with HKIA/ RIBA or equivalent;
- Experienced in leading design project from start to completion and managing design team for mixed-use complex or 5-star hotels or theatre as well as possess good design aesthetics.
- Familiar with full-spectrum design management, project delivery and well coordinate with design consultants, main contractors and government officials;
- Energetic, highly motivated, strive for excellence and high level of accountability;
- Proficient in Sketchup, AutoCad, Rhino, V-ray, and Enscape;
- Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese;
- Less experienced candidate will be considered as Deputy Head.
